Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded into the way we design and construct our data centers.

Our responsibilities as a provider and a neighbor

We recognize our responsibilities extend beyond the timely delivery of data centers. Our focus has always included the preservation of natural resources and minimizing the impact to the land and surrounding communities.

Water

Our designs use water-free cooling, allowing data centers to operate without the associated environmental impact.

Reflective Roofing

The materials in each of our data centers’ roofing mitigate heat absorption, eliminate heat islands and reduce GHG emissions by up to 4,813 tons annually.

Batch Plants

All our campuses feature a batch plant for concrete production, significantly reducing transportation-related Scope Two emissions.

Dedicated Substations

Dedicated campus substations reduce transmission loss. Additionally, our selection of FRI transformers utilize sustainable cooling fluid.

Backup Power

Hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) biodiesel fuels our generators reducing associated GHG emissions by up to 85% compared to conventional diesel fuel.

Carbon Cure

Our facilities are built using CarbonCure manufactured concrete. CarbonCure’s process sequesters carbon from the atmosphere and reduces GHG emissions by up to 266 tons for a 36 MW facility.

Concrete AI

Technological innovation is a core element of our sustainability efforts. Concrete AI’s application of big data and artificial intelligence minimizes our carbon footprint and the volume of concrete required to build our facilities. By using Concrete AI algorithms, our data center projects use up to 20% less concrete than competing alternatives.
