Compass Datacenters’ Chris Crosby to Speak at Data Center World and Uptime Institute Symposium in May

Compass Datacenters CEO Chris Crosby will be a featured speaker at Data Center World Spring in Las Vegas on May 2 and at the Uptime Institute Symposium in Santa Clara on May 14.

At Data Center World Spring, Crosby will give a presentation entitled, “Just Add Water? Implications of Drought on Data Center Cooling Strategies.” The presentation, which will address the need to consider the increasing scarcity and cost of water when planning a data center’s long-term strategy, will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 2 at the conference’s space at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas. At the Uptime Institute Symposium, Crosby will give a presentation entitled, “Waste Not, Want Not: The Inefficient Design of Today’s Data Centers.” This presentation, which will discuss areas for improved efficiency from a holistic, TCO-based perspective in the design of data centers, will take place at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at the conference’s space at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
