Compass Datacenters has been recognized as Corporate Partner of the Year in D CEO’s 2026 Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards, honoring the company’s commitment to workforce development and creating lasting opportunities for communities across North Texas.
Presented in partnership with Communities Foundation of Texas, the annual awards celebrate organizations and business leaders making a meaningful impact through community investment, philanthropy and corporate citizenship. This year’s program received more than 900 nominations, highlighting the strength of North Texas’ nonprofit sector and the business community.
Investing in the Future Workforce
Compass received the award for its partnership with Texas State Technical College (TSTC) to create an innovative workforce development program, MEI Data Center Pathway Program that prepares students for careers in one of the nation’s fastest growing industries.
The program brings together Compass and industry partners including Siemens, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, CBRE and others to strengthen the talent pipeline for the entire data center industry. By working together, the initiative is helping address the growing demand for skilled technical professionals while creating new career pathways for students.

The program is already delivering measurable results. Nearly 90 percent of the program’s first graduates secured full time employment, demonstrating the impact that collaboration between education and industry can have on workforce readiness.
